How Will You Celebrate Fashion Week?

Fall Fashion Week. What does it mean to you?? To me it means celebrating accomplishments, making new friends and enjoying the excitement of life itself!

By celebrating accomplishments, I mean that we now finally get to recognize everyone's hard work. You put in long hours when you work in the fashion industry. Everyone in this world is just as important as the next. It takes a team to make a dream come to life. You cannot assume that you will make it happen all by yourself.

On September 5th, 2013, I am proud to announce that the tiny village store that I manage in Bangor, Maine will once again be celebrating Fashion Week. In previous years we have named this event Fashion's Night Out, but since FNO is on hiatus this year across the United States, we have decided to name it our "Tribute To Fashion Week." We will have a fashion show with real women from our community showing off their unique individual style as well as Tastefully Simple refreshments and a massage therapist from Skin Necessities Day Spa will give you a little shoulder massage if you should find the urge to completely relax. A stylist from a local salon called Deja'vu will make over one lucky winner and that winner will show off her new look all evening long.

It's going to be a beautiful season.
My team works very hard to make your overall experience special. And we know that it's more than just a shopping experience. We love our store and we want you to love it to. I consider it my home. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and welcome. It's a place that every woman can come in and relax. You may want a little fashion advice, or a lot. You may just want to be inspired.

Below are a few photos from our Fashion's Night Out events in the past. We hope this year will be just as amazing!
